Most couples book us around nine to fourteen months ahead, and summer Saturdays tend to fill up the fastest. If you're following a Tamil auspicious calendar, the popular dates go very quickly once they're announced, so it's worth reaching out as soon as you have yours. And if your date is coming up sooner, definitely reach out anyway. You never know what might be available.

You tell us about the weekend and we send a quote back. If it feels right, you pick your package and add-ons, we put the details and the contract in front of you to read properly, and a retainer holds the date. After that everything lives in your own portal. No digging through email chains six months down the line: your documents, questionnaires, song picks and revisions are all in one place.

Yes, absolutely. If your wedding is outside of Halton or Durham, we'll let you know the travel cost upfront so there are no surprises later. We also film destination weddings, anywhere in Canada or overseas. Just ask and we'll work out what getting the team there actually costs.

Of course. Every wedding is a little different, so we don't expect everyone to fit into the same package. Tell us what your wedding weekend looks like and we'll put together something that makes sense for you.

We will move it, as long as we are still available. Tell us in writing and your retainer moves across to the new date along with everything else you have paid, for a $500 rescheduling fee plus HST. Two things worth knowing up front: the new date has to fall within twelve months of the original, and you can move once. If the package price is higher for the new date, the higher price applies. Cancelling outright is the only thing that costs you the retainer.

Yes. Plenty of venues want proof before they will let any vendor through the door, so send us the request or the venue's contact and we will get a certificate over to them. We also carry backup bodies, lenses and cards, which means a piece of equipment failing on the day is our problem to solve and not something you will ever notice.

The highlight film is the short version, built around the best moments of your day and set to music: four to six minutes for a wedding, three to five for a reception, and six to eight if we are filming both — or one for each event, if you would rather. The coverage film is much longer, an hour to an hour and a half for a ceremony and thirty minutes to an hour for a reception, and it includes the full ceremony, the speeches, and all the moments that wouldn't fit into a short highlight. That length follows your event rather than a target we are aiming at, so a shorter ceremony gives a shorter film and a long one runs longer. Basically, the highlight tells the story. The coverage film lets you relive the day.

Absolutely. In fact, we'd recommend asking every videographer you're considering for a full wedding film. Highlights are great, but seeing a full film gives you a much better idea of what you'll actually receive. Just let us know what type of ceremony you're having and we'll send you two full films to watch.

Our usual turnaround is around six to eight months. We take on a limited number of weddings each year so we can actually give each film the time it deserves. If you need your films sooner, we also offer express delivery, which brings the turnaround down to about one month for $500.

That is what the edits are for. A same day edit is put together during the day itself and screened that night ($2,500). A next day edit is turned around overnight and ready the following day ($1,950), which is the one to pick if your wedding and reception fall on separate dates. We can also feed a camera straight to the screens in the hall so guests at the back can see what is happening at the front ($450). Tell us early if you want any of these, because they change how we run the day.

Yes. About three months before the wedding your song selections open in your portal. Paste a link from YouTube or Spotify. If you would rather have something custom made for the two of you instead of a track everyone knows, our music engineer Thanushan scores a custom soundtrack for $500.

Yes. You can add the complete raw footage to your package for $500 on an external hard drive. You'll get every clip we captured, completely unedited.

Cinematically candid, which is a little cheesy said out loud but it is the honest description. We want the film to look like a film and we want the moments in it to be real ones, so we are not going to spend your day lining people up and pointing them at the camera. We stay out of the way, we know where to stand, and we let the day happen.

The link stays live for a year, which covers the stretch when you are actually sending it around. The USB is the copy you keep and that one does not expire. Put it somewhere sensible and copy the files off it when you get a chance, the same as you would with any drive.

Not at all. Most of the weddings we film aren't in English. We're familiar with Tamil, Hindu, Punjabi, Telugu, Arabic and Sinhala ceremonies, so nobody in your family has to stand beside us narrating the day.

You will be, for about the first hour. Then you get distracted by your own wedding and forget we are there, which is exactly what we are counting on. We are never going to ask you to pose, or to run something again for a second take. Most of what ends up in your highlight film is you talking to someone you love, and nobody looks stiff doing that.

We have people we trust for exactly this. If one of us genuinely cannot be there we bring in a filmmaker we know and have worked with before, rather than leaving you a person short, and your film is still edited by us. You would still get two cinematographers and the same finished product.

Two cinematographers are included with every package, including the smallest one. You won't pay extra for a second person and we won't turn up with only one. A third shooter comes as well: in the morning our lead shooter is at the bride's house and our 2nd shooter is at the groom's, while our 3rd shooter is already at the venue setting up the ceremony cameras and lights, so we're ready to roll the moment we arrive.

There's a good chance we have. We've filmed at a lot of venues across the GTA since 2016. If we're filming somewhere new, we'll make sure we're familiar with the space ahead of time so we're not figuring things out for the first time on your wedding day.

Yes, where the venue and the weather allow it. It is part of the coverage rather than something to buy. Some venues will not permit it and some airspace is closed to it, which is out of our hands, but where we can fly we will.

Absolutely. We only shoot film, never stills, so we're never competing with your photographer for the same frame. We'll reach out to them the week before the wedding so everyone knows the plan. They'll take the lead during portraits and we'll work around them, and we bring headsets so nobody is getting in anyone else's way. If you haven't booked a photographer yet, we're happy to recommend a few.

Yes. Mehndi, sangeet, engagement, whatever the weekend holds. A pre-event is $2,000 for four hours of coverage and $350 an hour after that, and it includes a coverage film of the event. You can decide whether we include that in your highlight film or keep it as its own piece. If there is a second ceremony on another day we film and edit that in full for $3,000. An engagement shoot is $1,000 and we include it in your highlight film, which is a nice way to get used to being on camera before the day everyone is watching.

Yes. A private livestream link starts at $650, so anyone who couldn't make the flight can still watch the ceremony as it happens.

Yes. Our 14 hour package can be split across two days, which works really well if your wedding and reception are on different dates.

We take a 50% deposit to secure your date, and the remaining 50% is due one month before the wedding. At the moment we accept cash or e-transfer.

No. Our prices are listed before HST, so HST will be added to the final total.

Every package includes two cinematographers, a personalised USB and a digital link to your films that you can easily share with family and friends. All delivered in 4K.

It happens, and it is rarely anyone's fault. Ceremonies start late, family group shots can run forever, we get it. Sometimes you have to roll with the punches. Extra time is $350 an hour and we will agree it with you on the day rather than surprising you with it afterwards. Wedding and reception hours are separate, so extra time on one does not come out of the other.

Yes, as long as there's enough time for us to plan for it. Extra events and hours are usually easy to add ahead of time. Things like a same day edit need a little more planning, so we'd recommend letting us know as early as possible.

No, the retainer is non-refundable, because once your date is yours we stop offering it to anyone else. Moving the date is a different thing. If you postpone to a date we are free within twelve months of the original, the retainer moves with you for a $500 rescheduling fee plus HST, and you can do that once. Even if you do cancel outright, it is only the retainer you lose: we refund the balance you have paid, less any third-party costs we have already committed to for your wedding, itemised so you can see them.
